NIT( New Installation Techniques ) Installation School, established in 1973 by Mr. Hiroshi Kajiya,teaches students basic installation techniques as well as its world-renown proprietary flooring installation techniques.
NIT also teachers students how to use cutting-edge installation tools,
including NIT’s very own oroginally developed tools, which can be also be purchased at NIT.
Original Tools
Commissioned by flooring, tools, and sundries manufacturers, NIT conducts installation
demonatrations for manufacturers at training sessions and exhibitions.

NIT sends highly skilled staff to installation projects and on-site training sessions around the world. Backed by manufactures of floor-covering , tools, and accessories NIT has gained its reputation as a training school for professionals seeking advanced skills.
In addtion, placing importance on mental and physical
well-being, NIT has designed their classes to provide participants with mental and physical training as a way to refresh their minds and bodies. NIT’s far-reching objective is not only to create technicians with advanced skills but educating installers to be well-respected and leading material instructors.
To date more than 12,000 participants have completed NIT courses, many of whom have
graduated to become world class technicians, floor covering installation competition winner and
govermmental organized award recipients. Additionally, many NIT graduates are now serving
as instructors at NIT installation school.
